Aepryus Calculator 1.2
Aepryus
Calculator is a 32-bit Windows scientific RPN calculator optimized for
use with other applications. The main focus of the development of AepCalc
was towards usability, but with an eye towards aesthetics. The AepCalc
sports all of the standard scientific functions; handles octal, decimal
and hexadecimal modes; and includes a clever memory facility. This calculator
was developed in order to solve certain deficiencies prevalent in the
standard windows calculator program. Those major problems being:
- the inability for the calculator to stay OnTop of other applications
- the excessive use of screen real estate
- the notable lack of Reverse Polish Notation
- the unwieldy task of memorizing all of the keys
- general ugliness
AepCalc solves these problems, by offering an OnTop mode which is easily
accessed off the main menu; has three window size modes (small, medium
and large) which show various amounts of the calculator; is an RPN calculator;
maps the keyboard keys on the right side of the keyboard directly to the
buttons displayed on the calculator face (in large mode), speeding the
memorization of the keys and hopefully, looks much better than the most
calculator apps.
AepCalc also, has a 10 number stack and a fair amount of flexibility
in the formatting of the display of the numbers.
